Emergency services were called out to two road traffic collisions within the space of two hours yesterday evening.
All three services attended both incidents, the first of which was at the Rue Des Portelettes and Route De Crolier junction near Rocquaine, while the other was at the traffic lights connecting Doyle Road with the Grange.
Both incidents were cleared up within a couple of hours.
Two people involved in the collision on Doyle Road were taken to the Emergency Department with what are believed to be minor injuries.
The incidents came at a time when additional pressure is on staff at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, with support from all of the island's emergency services and health care staff, and the Joint Emergency Control Centre is particularly stretched, manning the corona virus helpline numbers as well as taking 999 calls.
Guernsey residents are being reminded to stay at home wherever possible and only leave the house for essential reasons.
