This is the sixth year in a row that the winning ticket was sold to a Sarnian shopper – with a mixture of syndicates and individual winners claiming the jackpot in prior years.
However, a total of 42 of the 67 drawn prizes – around three in five – were won in Jersey this year, including the second prize and three of the five £10,000 prizes.
The winning numbers were announced at 18:30 after being drawn in the Government of Jersey's Treasury Offices earlier today.
The draw was independently observed and verified by James Lister from the National Trust, Anna Terry from the Jersey Community Foundation, and Beth Gallichan from the Association of Jersey Charities.
