The RAF has announced the Red Arrows will be back flying over Guernsey this year, during the annual Battle of Britain air display.
The display team did not come to Guernsey, or Jersey, last year because they were on a tour around the Middle East, India and Pakistan, and while the display still went on with world war aircraft, many felt it was not the same.
It was the first time they had not appeared in the Channel Islands since 1965 when the displays started, and among other aircraft that feature, the Red Arrows are usually the headline event.
The Guernsey Air Display made the announcement that they had received confirmation this morning.
Very excited to announce that we've had confirmation @rafredarrows will be part of this year's Air Display on 13 September! pic.twitter.com/emA7GeAJ82
