Guernsey, Alderney and Sark's athletes should all be well rested now they've arrived in Gibraltar, ahead of today's opening ceremony for the 2019 Natwest International Island Games.
The bulk of the sporting events get underway on Monday with the 'rock' expected to be much warmer than it is at home.
While some of the competitors, coaches and assistants, travelled down earlier this week, most of Team Guernsey gathered at Guernsey Airport yesterday to fly out on chartered planes.
They're accompanied by a number of volunteers as well as any officials who will be lending their expertise in Gibraltar too.
The volunteers have been bolstered by the arrival of professionals, who work for St John Ambulance, in Guernsey who are dedicating their time and skills to ensure the event runs smoothly.
The Opening Ceremony will give all athletes from each island a chance to mingle with their competitors. Each island host puts on their own unique show as part of the Natwest International Island Games.
Many will be hoping for an early night though as
