Public meeting for new political association

Thursday 08 March 2018

The three Deputies who have set up a "political association" have announced they will be holding a public meeting to talk about their new initiative.

Deputies Peter Ferbrache, Carl Meerveld and Joe Mooney have said they have been overwhelmed by the "enthusiastic response" to their plans.

"We have had tremendous interest and many requests for more information as well as people volunteering to help," Deputy Meerveld said.

"To enable us to brief everyone at the same time we are organising a public meeting to explain our concept and enlist the assistance of people wanting to make it a reality."

Deputy Ferbrache: "We hope that everyone who is interested will be able to join us to talk through this exciting initiative designed to fundamentally change Guernsey's political systems for the better."

"I believe that people will look back at this meeting and view it as a landmark moment in Guernsey's political history. The day on which everything started changing for the better," Deputy Mooney said.

The meeting is taking place on Tuesday 13 March from 19:30 to 21:00 in the Harry Bound Room at Les Cotils. No reservations are required and anyone interested in knowing more is welcome to attend.
