It has been confirmed that today's Covid-19 briefing will take place virtually for the first time at 13:00.
Tuesday's press briefing could only be attended by two members of the usual panel - Civil Contingencies Authority Chairman Peter Ferbrache and Public Health Director Dr Nicola Brink - due to other members of the CCA being in some form of self-isolation after being identified as potential contacts of positive cases.
The in-person briefings at Beau Sejour have now been discontinued for the time being and the first virtual briefing - which will be streamed online as usual - will be staged at 13:00 on MS Teams.
As of yesterday afternoon, there were 84 known active cases and no Covid patients at the hospital.
