Hundreds of homes and businesses were without power for two hours on Saturday night after a high voltage cable fault affected those in close proximity to the island's power station.
Homes and businesses around the Bridge and surrounding areas lost power soon after 19:00 with many not being switched back on until after 21:00.
Guernsey Electricity later confirmed: "We experienced a high voltage cable fault on Saturday evening which affected approximately 400 customers in the Bridge surrounding area. All supplies were restored in less than 2 hours."
People across Guernsey reported their lights flickering and power cutting out for a few seconds but only those homes around the Vale/St Sampson's border were affected by the two hour outage.
Some homes in Jersey were also affected by a brief power surge but no power cuts were reported.
The Saturday night outage was followed by a "low voltage cable fault" on Sunday which left homes and businesses on Braye Road and the surrounding area without power.
A limited number of properties remained without power for more than two hours on Sunday evening.
Guernsey Electricity advised anyone without power following the restoration of supplies to call them directly for help.
