Politicians to have final say on Oatlands Lane vinery

Tuesday 13 August 2019

Planners have given the go-ahead for a glasshouse site in a one-way St Sampson's lane to be redeveloped as a light industry park.

The Development & Planning Authority will make the final decision as to whether the plans can be finalised at an open planning meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

It will be held at Beau Sejour, in the Cambridge and Delancey Rooms,  starting at 09:30.

The Planning Department believes the change of use of the Domarie & Avondale Vineries in Oatlands Lane is acceptable and meets planning requirements.

The units would be for storage for small building trade businesses, including electricians, plumbers, decorators, carpenters, recycling, stonemason and roofers.
