Investigations are now underway into Jersey's twin tragedies which together claimed 13 lives.
The sinking of the L’Ecume II trawler came first, followed just a few days later by the major explosion at Haut du Mont in St Helier. Some basic details of both have so far emerged, but there is clearly much more to come.
Each was a major incident for Jersey's emergency services with support from Guernseys, but putting them both together just a few days apart stretched resources to the limit.
