When his mum collapsed at home, five-year-old Colby Bridgman dialled 999 alerting the emergency services that something was wrong.
Unconscious on the floor, his mum had suffered an unexpected medical condition and needed urgent medical attention.
Colby has been praised for helping to save his mum's life.
He and 999 call handler Liz Arklie have both received Commendations from the Chief Ambulance Officer for their actions on that day last September.
