Witnesses to an alleged assault on Mont Arrive during yesterday's rush hour are asked to contact Guernsey Police - they especially want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage.
The incident happened at around 18:00 yesterday, Monday 16 January.
A pedestrian is alleged to have damaged a car and then "seriously assaulted a passenger".
Police say they are "appealing for any witnesses to this incident or members of the public in the area at this time.
"In particular anyone who may have been driving in the area and has a dashcam is asked to contact Police.
"If you have any information regarding this incident you are asked to contact PC 108 Turton on 222 222 or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
