One person was taken to hospital after two cars collided at a junction yesterday afternoon.
The Joint Emergency Services Control Centre reported the accident at the junction of "Les Canus and the Route des Capelles" shortly before 16:00.
All of the emergency services were dispatched as it was immediately apparent that injuries had been caused by the collision.
The roads - believed to be Les Canus, La Marette Road, and Les Grandes Capelles (pictured above), were reopened around an hour later when it was also confirmed that one person had been taken to the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital "as a precaution".
A spokesperson said the person's injuries were "minor" and are believed to have been limited to cuts and shock.
