Guernsey's Revenue Service is going to stop issuing reminders and repayments for amounts under £20, in a new move announced today after a review of customer feedback.
Customers will still receive statements advising them of their final tax assessment, however small debts will not be chased and repayments will not be actively pursued.
Small credit balances will remain on a customer's account and any credits over £20 will still be sent automatically.
Sarah Davies, Head of Service Delivery for the Revenue Service, said: "The Revenue Service values customer feedback and has established an annual survey to capture it on a more formal basis. From this, the service continues to look at ways in which it can change and improve the way customers access the service.
"Stopping issuing reminders and repayments for under £20 is only one example. We will continue to update the community as more changes are implemented."
