Victoria Stamps has been appointed as the next Deputy Seneschal of Sark.
A notice from the Seigneur, Major Christopher Beaumont, confirmed that Ms Stamps will start the important role on Friday 1 October.
She will first take an oath of office in Guernsey’s Royal Court and has been congratulated by Major Beaumont, who has wished her success in the role.
The appointment of Ms Stamps completes a new team at the head of the Seneschal’s Court, with Bethan Owen taking over as Seneschal from Jeremy La Trobe Bateman.
He retired after more than 20 years in those roles, starting out as Deputy Seneschal in 2000 and becoming the Seneschal in 2013.
