A host of Channel Island musicians have braved the winds and headed to Sark this weekend to perform at a free festival across the island.
The Sark Mini Festival has been set up in the place of the Summer Festival, which was due to begin yesterday but had to be cancelled earlier this year.
Although those with tickets to the Summer Festival were refunded, many people had already booked travel and accommodation, so organiser Mark Guillou decided to put on a smaller music event instead.
"Unfortunately we couldn't go ahead with the Sark Summer Festival because of family events," explained Mr Guillou. "We looked at different dates but there were lots of people coming anyway and we thought we needed to do something for those people. That was really the prime motivation."

Rather than being based in one place, the Mini Festival is being held at a range of different locations around the island, with two bands playing each evening and an acoustic music trail throughout the day.
It got underway last night with a performance from Guernsey's 'Honest Crooks' and 'Tantale' at the Bel Air.
The Mermaid will host 'Benny the Moth' from Jersey this evening, and festival-goers will return to the Bel Air tomorrow to hear the 'Joe Corbin Band' and 'Parish 13'.
From noon each day, lots of individual acts including Rachel Dawson, Seasick Gaz and Mark Guppy will provide entertainment at AJ's Garden, Time & Tide, Stocks, Harry's, La Sablonnerie, Caragh Chocolates, the Island Hall and La Vieux Clos.
"I didn't want to just do something in one place," added Mr Guillou. "The whole idea is to spread it around a bit, so it benefits the whole of Sark.
"All the acoustic bands are basically paying for their lunch and they're being looked after in kind by the appropriate places."
Despite the poor weather forecast, all but one of the bands managed to make it to Sark ahead of the event starting yesterday. Sark Shipping had warned some boats may be cancelled by the weather. You can check the sailing updates here.
