The LADbible has shared the glory of Herm with its 49 million followers encouraging them to visit the "hidden" and "magical" island.
In a post shared late on Sunday afternoon, the island is described as the "UK's 'magical' island with empty beaches where cars are banned and (the) only hotel has no clocks".
By this morning, more than 2,000 people had reacted to the post, while more than 300 had shared it and nearly 800 people had commented.
Some of those comments came from locals who in their multitude pointed out repeatedly that Herm, like the rest of the Channel Islands, is not in the UK at all.

Aside from the geographical faux pas, the article shared by LADBible was well received with Herm Island and Visit Guernsey both sharing the Facebook post.
Visit Guernsey said it was "lovely to see the beautiful Herm Island being celebrated", adding "have you visited recently?"
Liesja Grut commented on the LADBible page that Herm is her "favourite place in the whole wide world" while Kirsty Miller shared: "I used to live/work here. It is an actual paradise! Love Herm."
Andre Bennett said "the Channel Islands are a gem" while Samantha Robles-Hulme said "Guernsey is stunning. I've not been there."
Richard Heaume, a Guernseyman who lives in Jersey took a different view of the article to many others.
"Take this down before everyone goes there," he joked. "It's paradise for a reason. (I'm) looking forward to the first mermaid beer (of the year)."
The Mermaid Tavern reopens this weekend after its annual winter closure.
The pub will be screening Six Nations rugby from this Saturday with plans being finalised for half term activities for the children and cottages available for people wanting longer breaks on the island LADBible says you're offered a "truly relaxing holiday".
In describing Herm as "somewhere new, somewhere less touristy and crowded" the article author also wrote: "I know where I'm going in May".
If Joshua Mair does pay the 'jewel in the crown' of our Bailiwick a visit during May then he could be entertained by tribute acts to Madness and Celine Dion with more events likely to be booked in.
May sees an average temperature of 15c with the Bailiwick recording its highest May temperature of 25.9c in 2003.
The month is of course blessed with three Bank Holidays including Guernsey's Liberation Day on 9 May.
