Changes to RBS International's organisational structure have led to five Guernsey-based staff losing their jobs.
A spokesperson for RBS International confirmed to Express that duties previously carried out by the locally-based Corporate Services team had been absorbed by staff in the Isle of Man.
"RBS International has made changes to their organisational structure to align to the vision to become a bank that is easy to deal with and create a structure that supports our new ways of working," the spokesperson said.
"Five colleagues in the Corporate Services team in Guernsey have been impacted however there may be other roles which become available during the transition which some of these colleagues may wish to consider. As always we are looking at redeployment options and supporting our people through these changes.
"The work undertaken by these colleagues will be absorbed by the Isle of Man Corporate Services Team, account opening and customer engagement managers will not be impacted by these changes."
