After getting into a verbal altercation at Les Croutes, a man threw another man's bicycle into the road and then stamped on it several times before walking off.

Police are calling for witnesses to the incident, which happened at around 01:00 on Sunday 18 October, to come forward with information.

They say there was a verbal altercation at Les Croutes, St Peter Port, involving two men and a woman.

Officers said: "During this altercation, one of the males threw the other male's bicycle into the road and then stamped on it several times causing damage before walking off with the female towards The Hermitage Close."
