Sean McManus' latest work 'Teeth of the Conger' is out now.
It's set in the Roman-Era Channel Islands, called the Gateway Islands), around the year 270 AD, which was about the time the Asterix went to the seabed near what, many centuries later, would become St Peter Port Harbour.
The story moves between the Channel Islands and mainland Gaul, and follows two Guernsey boys who survive a shipwreck, on a backdrop of historical events, intertwined with personal growth.
