Two women - raising money for two charities - will spend two days running, cycling, and kayaking across Scotland this weekend.
It's not the first physical challenge Katherine Jane and Dawn Sealey have embarked on together but it is going to test their resilience as they navigate the 101miles of mainly mountainous terrain.
The pair met at work and became firm friends after rainy day lunchtime runs.
They've since embarked on 24 hour relay runs, half marathons and more together with both women also completing their own challenges such as climbing Ben Nevis and swimming most of the way across Loch Ness this summer.
This weekend they'll be taking part in 'The Rat Race Coast to Coast' which is described as "a classic British adventure race".
Held over two days - although some complete it in one go - as many as 1500 competitors will navigate their way from the west coast to the east coast of Scotland.
Those taking part over two days will be camping overnight on Saturday.
The pair leave Guernsey on Friday morning before the event starts on Saturday morning. They need to be finished in time to catch a train back to Manchester Airport on Sunday night.
They've given themselves Monday off to recover before planning to get back to work on Tuesday.
Before they've even left Guernsey they've exceeded their fundraising target for their two chosen charities but they have left their giving.gg fundraising page open for anyone else who wishes to donate.
All money donated will be split between the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and Guernsey Mind.
