We’re now just a few days on from one of the worst tragedies to affect the Channel Islands in living memory.
People in Jersey are struggling to come to terms with the events on Pier Road in St Helier on Saturday 10 December.
With nine people missing after the major blast rocked Jersey, the island is still in shock.
It’s only to be expected that ever since the explosion, just before 04:00 early on Saturday morning, information as to the cause has steadily been coming out, mixed in with rumour and supposition.
