An Open Planning Meeting will be held at Beau Sejour next week where politicians will be asked to decide on the latest plans for the redevelopment of Leale’s Yard.
The public meeting, hosted by the Planning Service and the Development & Planning Authority, will take place in the Cambridge/Delancey Room at the leisure centre from 09:30 on Wednesday 16 November.
The developers and those who have previously made written representations on the current plans will be permitted to speak for up to four minutes during the meeting.
Those wishing to speak must have informed the Planning Service in writing of their intention to make a representation, at least two working days prior to the meeting. The deadline for that is therefore Monday 14 November.
The political members of the DPA will be advised by planners on the planning report and their recommended conditions for the development.
They have advised giving planning permission, with 26 conditions attached to the approval. It is possible that the DPA will choose to either remove or add other conditions to further address the concerns of stakeholders.
