During Hospice Care Week, Les Bourgs Hospice have been eager to share with the public just how much of a difference their charity shop makes, thanks to you - their customers.
The theme for this year's week looked to celebrate the services provided by dedicated Care Workers across the British Isles, with a focus on hospice retail and the role it plays in funding these services.
However, Les Bourg's Hospice has also focused on the impact shopping at charity shops can have on the wider community.
“The shop offers an eco-friendly alternative to fast fashion and consumerism, giving preloved items a second life,” said a spokesperson for the Friends of Les Bourgs Hospice.

Aside from the global implications, Les Bourgs charity shop at Les Huriaux in St Martin's has a big impact in Guernsey.
It acts as a lifeline by providing funds for the hospice staff and volunteers so they can provide free, round-the-clock care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
"The charity shop is a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts," said Rob Jones, the Chief Executive Officer at Les Bourgs Hospice.
"We’re incredibly grateful for the support we receive from the community, and we hope that Guernsey will continue to stand with us by shopping, donating, and volunteering.”
