Electronic devices have been stolen from a property in the Castel after someone entered the house uninvited overnight.

It happened some time between 23:00 on 19 June and 06:30 the following morning, at Rectory Hill.

Guernsey Police said; "a currently unknown individual or individuals have entered a private residence which was left insecure overnight on an estate along Rectory Hill, Castel.

"Whilst inside a laptop and a Sony Experia mobile phone were stolen from the address."

The investigating officers would like to speak to anybody "who saw anyone suspicious in the area or anyone who has any information on any potential stolen property."

Guernsey Police also said it was a good opportunity to remind people of "the importance of ensuring that all properties and vehicles are adequately secured.
