Kerbside collections continue over holidays

Friday 15 April 2022

Household waste and recycling collections will be unaffected by the two public holidays over the Easter weekend.

Collections went ahead as normal in the early hours of this morning, Good Friday.

Households in central St Peter Port, who normally set out waste and recycling on a Sunday night, will also have their normal collection this weekend, even though it coincides with Easter Monday.

Sunday night’s recycling collection in St Sampson’s is also unaffected.

The Household Waste and Recycling Centre and the Chouet Green Waste site will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but will resume their normal opening hours in between these days.
