An episode of ‘Murder In...’ - a hit French drama – has been shot in Alderney and will air later this summer.

The popular French show has eight seasons and averages 4 million viewers per episode. Each episode is based in a different location, with different directors and different cast members each time.

The company behind the drama, Quad Drama, went to Alderney in April to film its latest episode. Actors Sara Mortensen Ferrier, Camille Claris and Christine Hooper shot scenes for ‘Murder in Bayeaux’ which is the 97th episode in the series.

Scenes were shot in Braye Street, High Street and in the Library.

“We have been working with Quad Drama since last August,” said Ms Boulon.

“States Works were very helpful making the scenes for the shoots looking nice and tidy, including the bunting which was up early in Braye Street. The volunteers at the library are to be congratulated for their welcome for the crew, closing the library and dealing with all of the unexpected last-minute issues.”

Visit Alderney liased with Quad Drama to ensure the day-long shoot went well, which involved 15 crew members coming to the island.
