Injuries and arrests in altercation

Monday 15 May 2023

One teenager ended up in hospital and three were arrested following an incident at the bus terminus on Saturday.

Guernsey Police has confirmed the severity of the incident after appealing for any witnesses to contact them if they haven't already done so.

Guernsey Police said the "altercation" between "a number of juveniles" took place at 17:40 on Saturday 13 May.

It ended with one teenager being taken to hospital for treatment.

Two boys aged 17 were arrested on suspicion of assault while a 14 year old girl was arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour.

Police enquiries are continuing with PC 73 Sargent leading the investigation.

It's believed the altercation was witnessed by a number of other people. Many gave their details to the police at the scene, but anyone who didn't or who saw something as they passed is asked to contact Guernsey Police now.

PC Sargent can be contacted by calling 222 222 or messages can be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
