A property in Alderney has been adorned with 'biohazard' warnings after being used to store toxic chemicals.
The posters on the house at La Brecque, in St Anne, were spotted during November but it's not known exactly when they were put up.
A spokesperson for the States of Alderney confirmed that the building has previously been used by vets and it had contained chemicals and other hazards.
Advice was sought from experts within the States of Alderney and Guernsey, including the Fire Service, and it was agreed that the chemicals and other hazards will be removed "properly".
That work is said to be "almost complete" and when that is done, the building is due to be put up for sale.
