One person had to be taken to the Emergency Department following an early morning crash, which was the first of at least five road traffic collisions on Friday.
There has recently been an alarming increase in RTC's, including a couple of high-profile accidents which led to the deaths of two teenagers.
Today has been frantic for emergency services, with the first incident a two-vehicle collision at Rue Maze in St Martin's, which happened at 04:40.
Following assessment at the scene, one patient had to be taken to the Emergency Department for further treatment.
At around 08:25 this morning, an ambulance attended a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle near M&S in St Martin's. One person was assessed on scene but did not require transfer to hospital.
Just after midday, emergency services were again deployed, this time to a collision at Rue Poudreuse, St Martin's. A paramedic ambulance was dispatched and clinicians assessed a patient who was then discharged on scene.
There were two further incidents that St John Emergency Ambulance did not need to attend, however they were attended by other blue light services.
The first of those happened at around 14:20, when a car crashed near the Rue Du Friquet traffic light. Just a short distance away during the school rush hour, there was a three-car collision at the Rohais de Haut.
It comes just a day after a collision by the Vale Church led to one person needing hospital treatment.
