Local charity Health Connections are seeking storage space for their "preloved and reloved" items, following the permanent closure of their store on the Bridge.
For several years, the shop has offered clothing and homeware items, both in-store and via its "directory to doorstep" service.
This space was provided rent-free to the charity by the Co-op; however, "major works" required on the site have forced them to close its doors.
"I am acutely aware of how popular the shop was, and the joy it brought to our fabulous team to serve the local Bridge community," said CEO Bella Farrell, when the closure was announced in September.
In June this year, Health Connections launched a new shop on Smith Street, which offers additional services such as a 'Repair Cafe', community sewing table, and opportunities for local artists to have their work showcased.
In a Facebook post, the charity clarified they were looking for another shop in the Bridge area to continue serving that community. In the meantime, they are seeking a dry and secure premises with good vehicular access, where they can store their current stock and continue to offer their delivery services in the short term.
Anyone who may be able to help is asked to get in touch on kate@healthconnections.gg.
