The spirit of Halloween will be being celebrated in a 'souper' way at the Victorian Walled Kitchen Garden today, as the team are putting on a scary series of events for people to enjoy.
Kicking off at 11:00 and running through until 15:00, there'll be the spooky soup kitchen, with five mysterious flavours for people to try using all of the garden's vegetables.
Children will also be able to enjoy pumpkin carving and pumpkin games, then there will be live music, arts and crafts, a lucky dip and more.
La Choppe, the traditional craft shop, will also be open for all of the visitors to browse.
Entry to the garden is free, but all of the money raised through donations will be going towards helping the garden to continue to flourish and grow.
Parking will be available at Home Farm.
Also kicking off today is the Guernsey Beekeepers' Association's Annual Honey Show, which will be taking place among the activities. It will run through the weekend, and visitors will be able to learn about beekeeping and honeybees and see an array of products produced by local beekeepers.
GBKA President Damian Harris said: "Each beekeeper's hive will produce unique honey as a result of the mix of flowers the bees fed upon; this also varies through the season as different plants bloom - its quite amazing to see the variety of honeys we get even just here on Guernsey; not to mention all the other things our talented beekeepers are able to make. We'll also have a glass fronted observation hive so visitors can see what really happens inside a beehive."
