The latest tests have shown that Guernsey's mobile phone masts emissions are comfortably within internationally recognised safe levels.
This year's audit was conducted by the Guernsey Competition & Regulatory Authority (GCRA), with experts testing masts in both urban and rural locations.
The latest audit was taken at the Town Church in September, and was found by the team undertaking the audit to be "well below the ICNIRP guidelines".
Essentially that confirms that emissions remain comfortably within the internationally recognised safe levels for the general public.
“Mobile masts help Guernsey residents and visitors to the island stay connected and it is part of our job to ensure that emissions from those masts are below recognised and accepted minimum safety levels, to give islanders peace of mind," said Michael Byrne, CEO of the GCRA.
You can find the full reports into the emissions data and locations audited on the GCRA website HERE.
