Guernsey has ranked 44th out of more than 200 countries in a list of global broadband speeds.
WebsiteToolTester has compared speeds in 207 countries, including the Channel Islands, Yemen and San Marino.
The top three fastest speeds were recorded in Taiwan, Singapore and Jersey - at 85.02, 70.86, 67.46 Mbps respectively.

Jersey's speedy broadband results is put down to its island wide fibre infrastructure. Copper lines have been replaced across the entire island, a much slower process which is still ongoing in Guernsey.
The Daily Mail reported last week that Europe does have more countries in the top 25 than any other continent, which is partly down to so many investing in fibre optic technologies.
The UK is languishing behind its much smaller off-shore neighbour, at 39th, but it does beat Guernsey which was ranked 44th with a speed of 18.26 Mbps.

The list was put together by experts from WebsiteToolTester.com who analysed data collated last year from billions of speed tests worldwide.
Results were excluded if they had been gathered during an obvious network fault which would skew the result, and they also exclude countries with fewer than 100 unique IP addresses.
