The British Guernsey International Dance Sport Championships are set to take place at Beau Sejour this December with some acclaimed worldwide talent taking to the floor over the three days.
From 6 to 8 December styles from Ballroom to Latin will be on display.
In preparation for the event, a delegation have been in Guernsey this week to ensure all of the plans are running to schedule, and on track for December.
It’s hoped that around 1,000 people could visit the island for the event when the competition kicks off, so facilities needed to be thoroughly checked before hand.
Organisers want local dance schools and enthusiasts to embrace the competition, with an aim to appeal to a wide demographic.

Tickets for the event range from £50 to £130.
