This year's 24-hour gaming marathon will be a landmark occasion - with the organisers and participants celebrating a decade of helping people, while they look to raise money this year for the guys at the Men’s Shed.
Since 2014, gamers have gathered with consoles or laptops in hand for a 'game-athon'.
Together they've raised over £32,000 in the process, for a variety of charities.
Last year alone they managed to bring in £6,310 for the Royal British Legion and the Channel Islands Air Search.

James Hookway, Chairperson of Guernsey Gaming for Good, said he's looking forward to their anniversary event.
“As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we're reflecting on how far we've come and the impact we've made in our community.
“This year, with the support of Sure Business and the Digital Greenhouse, we're pulling out all the stops to ensure this marathon is our best yet. We can’t wait to see the community rally together once more to support Men’s Shed.”
In their drive to top last year’s totals, the team has a helping hand for 2024.
Now sponsored by Sure, they’re looking to scale up their activities and the money raised with it. The organisers say they’re hoping to beat last year’s total for this year’s charity - which itself supports men by providing a workplace for them to "socialise, make and do things together to enhance their sense of purpose and wellbeing".
Mike Fawkner-Corbett, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Sure, said: “We're incredibly proud to sponsor an event that combines two of our core values: supporting our community, and providing great connectivity.
“Guernsey Gaming for Good is all about raising money for local charities, while doing something they are passionate about, gaming! We can't wait to get involved on the day, you may even see us on the livestream."
The gaming starts on 19 October at Guernsey’s Digital Greenhouse. You can find out more about the fundraising efforts on the Guernsey Gaming For Good website or on their Facebook Page.
