Guernsey has been shortlisted for the top title at Citywealth's 2021 International Finance Centre of the Year awards.
Many finance firms with offices in the Bailiwick have been nominated for various awards by an international panel of "highly respected" practitioners from all private wealth sectors.
Now in their tenth year, the Citywealth IFC Awards were established to "highlight the excellence" of managers and advisers in the private wealth sector in major international financial centres.
One such business is Butterfield Bank, who has been shortlisted in six categories across their international offices. Guernsey's offices have been nominated for Trust Company of the Year - as well as Private Bank of the Year.
"We are very proud to, once again, be recognised by Citywealth," said Chairman and CEO Michael Collins.
"Congratulations to the team for your accomplishments and this prestigious recognition."

Rupert Pleasant, the new Chief Executive of We Are Guernsey, believes that Guernsey's international reputation has improved throughout 2020, in spite of the difficulties faced on a global scale.
"I know people are aware of our regulatory regime, our stability, and now our response to covid, and are thinking 'that's a place we can do business with'," he wrote in an end-of-year blogpost.
Winners of the Citywealth IFC Awards will be announced in an online ceremony on 23 February; a shortlist of the nominees in each category can be viewed here.
Pictured top: "Over the next few years, if we can persuade people that Guernsey is a force for global good, then that will give me a high degree of satisfaction without doubt," said Mr Pleasant.
