The Guernsey Dairy has been shortlisted alongside eight other finalists in the “Best of Organic Dairy” BOOM Awards category.
The prestigious national award has attracted other well-known names such as Yeo Valley and Rachel’s Organic.
“I’m so pleased for the farmers and our staff to see this product recognised alongside major multi-national players. It shows it really is one of the best out there,” said Guernsey Dairy’s Quality and Compliance Manager, Alex Tielles.
“It is unique to have milk with such high standards in animal welfare and land management and also with milk from only A2 cattle as well.”
1,000 litres of organic milk are supplied to the Dairy every week by Les Fauconnaires Farm, which is run by Jim and Liz Naftel.
“The Dairy team and Jim and Liz work incredibly hard to make sure the best product gets to our customers,” said Ms Tielles.
“We try to do as little as possible to it to make sure it’s really natural.”
The winners of the BOOM Awards will be announced on 5 July.
