They enjoy the flexible ensemble format, being able to invite an array of wonderful musicians to work with for different settings.

Past performances have included Philip Glass’s Opera “ in the penal colony” a tour of string trios, string sextets and most recently this program of piano, quartets. Often programs include lesser known works alongside more traditional repertoire, as well as some of Oscar’s own arrangements and transcriptions.

The incredible Perks Ensemble will take to the stage of St Jameson Wednesday 30 October from 7:30pm.

Tickets are still available HERE - don’t miss your chance to see this striking performance.

Make your way down to Les Cotils on Wednesday 30 October to join the latest of the Arts Society Guernsey Lectures.

Starting at 7pm, this lecture will be brought to you by Anna Haworth, a lecturer at the V&A, the British Museum and the Queen’s Gallery.

The Forbidden City was built in Beijing in the early 15th century. Its pavilions house vast collections of art objects, collected by the Chinese Emperors. The lecture lifts the veil of secrecy to explore the art and architecture of the palace, the lives of its past inhabitants and recent history.

Entrance is free to members; non-members will be admitted upon payment of £15 at the door, if space permits.

For membership and other information please visit The Arts Society Guernsey website: theartssocietyguernsey.gg
