Island Life by Sarnia Arts and Crafts

Sarnia Arts & Crafts’ Winter Exhibition is here! 'Island Life' opens at Sula Framing & Gallery this Friday 11th October and runs until Saturday 26th October.

The exhibition features paintings and crafts created by Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club's talented members. All work has been inspired by living on an island.

Not only is this showcase a brilliant look into the creative talent we have in Guernsey, but it is also a great opportunity to purchase some unique, original and locally produced artwork - either as a gift, or as something special for your home!

Exhibition open 10am - 5.30pm, Monday-Saturday

The Royal Ballet Presents: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Screening)

Tumble down the rabbit hole in this ballet adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s famous family story. Journey through Wonderland with Alice and encounter a host of curious characters in Christopher Wheeldon’s unique theatrical interpretation!

On Tuesday the 15th of October from 7:15pm, a screening of this classic story will be shown at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts Theatre.

Tenebrae: A Hymn of Heavenly Beauty

Tenebrae, the internationally renowned and award-winning vocal ensemble, is coming to Guernsey to perform at the Guernsey Choral Festival.

Taking place from 7:30pm on Thursday the 17th of October, Tenebrae will be joined by the singers of the Guernsey Youth Choir in two iconic masterworks; Allegri's ‘Miserere’ and John Tavener's ‘The Lamb’, for one night only in the beautiful Town Church.

Described as “phenomenal” (The Times) and “devastatingly beautiful” (Gramophone Magazine), award-winning choir Tenebrae is one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, renowned for its passion and precision.

Under the direction of Nigel Short, Tenebrae performs at major festivals and venues across the globe, including the BBC Proms, Wigmore Hall, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Rheingau Musik Festival and Sydney Festival. The choir has earned international acclaim for its interpretations of choral works from the Renaissance through to contemporary masterpieces, and it regularly commissions new music.

Back in Vraic - LIVE at The Doghouse!

"At the Doghouse we bring together the best of Guernsey bands, international tribute bands and live music all under one roof."

This Saturday’s show will be courtesy of the brilliant ‘Back in Vraic’, and it will be their only Guernsey Gig this year!

The band will be playing some AC/DC hits and their second set of classic rock covers, as they announce their Charity Partner for Let There Be Rock 3; the wonderful Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation.

We hope to see you there supporting this great cause and rocking out to the sounds of ACDC!
