Opening to the public on Friday 8 March, Olympia's series of portraits will adorn the Great Hall foyer of the Royal Court.

The portraits, which McEwan started creating in 2018, feature seven inspirational women, all of which have a local connection.

“Seven inspirational women, from many walks of life. All have changed the world we live in, through a variety of fields. Together they form this celebratory collection of portraits.

These women have led their professions, broken new ground and inspired change through their relentless endeavour. I chose them all for their outstanding achievements.” - Olympia McEwan

After the initial opening on the 8th of March, the exhibition will be open to view on Saturday 9 March 11:00 - 14:00, and will be open Monday to Friday thereafter, during working hours until Thursday 21 March.

It is a public exhibition with no entry charge and is fully accessible to all. What are you waiting for?

As a finale, you’ll get to marvel at a ‘fiendishly challenging and entertaining’ transcription of Tchaikovsky’s ever-popular Nutcracker Suite.
