Pupils at The Ladies’ College have sent out an impressive message of encouragement to the Guernsey team ahead of the Natwest International Island Games.
There are just 46 days to go until the Games gets under way, with action in 14 sports and some 3,000 visitors expected over the week.
College students from Junior Remove to Lower Five in the Senior School were out on the school’s playing field alongside their tutored and Games mascot Jet the Puffin to spell out the “Go Gsy” message.
The school’s Upper Four has also been making resources in their tutor groups to help teach the students at Melrose a bit more about the Games and the visiting islands.
The Island Games takes place from 8 to 14 July.
