From decorated bikes and wheelbarrows to the largest floats, enthusiasm radiated out from the Battle of Flowers entrants even as the weather left the crowd huddled under umbrellas and coats.
The Senior Prix D'Honneur was won by Asterix, a float put together by Ian Lewis and Friends.
The creative spirit was abundant with those taking part this year keen to encourage more entrants in the future to help keep one of the show traditions alive.
