FREE buses for Sure Big Screen

Thursday 18 July 2019

Families can have a free weekend of cinema at Cobo starting tomorrow with complimentary buses laid on especially at the end of each day.

The Sure Big Screen launches this Friday with the widest range of films yet.

The outdoor cinema returns this month showcasing a range of family favourites, musicals, heroes and villains, and the People’s Choice which includes The Matrix and The Little Mermaid on a new 6 metre LED screen  (full timetable below).

Emily Field, marketing and PR manager at Sure, said: “The Sure Big Screen is one of the highlights of the summer and we are thrilled to have such a great choice of films screening. We hope to see record numbers of you out there in front of the even bigger screen.”

The new, bigger, better screen has been supplied by local production company Joys.

Once again the Sure Big Screen will take place at Cobo and this year Sure are working in partnership with the States of Guernsey and CT Plus to run a free bus service after the final film on each day. The bus will be available to all, but a place will only be guaranteed with a ticket for those who registered through the Sure Facebook page.
