Four separate vehicles were stolen over the weekend, all of which had been left unlocked, and some even had the key left in the ignition.
Guernsey Police are now reminding people of their "simple" advice, which is to lock your car and take your keys away with you every time you park it.
The four thefts took place across four different parishes, and while each vehicle has since been recovered, Police have said they believe these were all 'opportunistic crimes'.

Crime Reduction Adviser Andy Goodall from Guernsey Police said: "Guernsey is a very safe place to live and work. But that does not mean we are immune from crime. These were random acts of criminality, and taking basic security measures would have prevented them from happening. Using less than five seconds to lock your car is a lot less inconvenient than having it stolen.
"The message is clear: take the time, prevent the crime.”
One of the cars stolen was a black Smart Car, which was taken sometime between 23:30 on Saturday 3 November and 09:30 the next morning. It was taken from the driveway of a property in St Pierre Du Bois.
Another was a red Hyundai Getz that was taken from another driveway in St Saviours overnight on the Saturday. The car was found abandoned with the keys in the ignition in a field that morning, having been damaged on the front. A van was stolen on Friday night.
Guernsey Police have since released a video to emphasise the importance of not giving criminals the opportunity to commit crimes. This came along side their advice statement, which said: "Our advice is simple: when you park, take your keys and lock your car.
"This is easy to do. It doesn’t take long. And it could prevent your car being stolen."
Anyone who witnessed any of these incidents, or has any information that may assist police in their investigations, is asked to contact PC Carmassi or PC Sheldon on 725111. Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers, to report any information anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
