An accident involving a bus and a car left four people needing hospital treatment, including the bus driver, two passengers and the car driver.
Both vehicles were on the Route de Sausmarez in St Martin, shortly after 14:00 when they collided near Sausmarez Manor.
Fort Road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the accident and it wasn't reopened until gone 18:00.
Guernsey Police, Fire and Rescue and St John Emergency Ambulance Service were all there, and while it isn't yet clear what happened, diversions were set up as paramedics treated the patients before GRFS cleared the area.
The accident was described as a "two vehicle road traffic collision" with Guernsey Police later confirming that it had involved a bus and a car.
Guernsey Police said the driver of the car was taken to the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, while the bus driver and two bus passengers were treated at the ED for "minor injuries". Nothing was said about the extent of the injuries suffered by the car driver.
