Fire service launches feline rescue mission

Guernsey Fire and Rescue Service are spending their Friday night trying to rescue a cat stuck on top of a building.

The feline was spotted on top of Havelet Waters along the South Esplanade and the emergency service was dispatched to try and get the animal down.

The alert was sent at 21:00 with the fire and rescue crew trying to coax the cat down before darkness. 

Havelet Waters is the developmemt at the former brewery site at the bottom of Le Val des Terres.
