DVL office trialing new opening times to "improve customer service"

Monday 03 September 2018

The Driver & Vehicle Licensing office is trialing a new set of opening times for the rest of the year, in an attempt to improve customer service.

From today, Monday 3 September, until Friday 28 December, the office will be open from the earlier time of 08:30 Monday to Friday for all matters.

if the trial is successful, the Bulwer Avenue office will adopt the times permanently.

This change is being made in response to customer feedback and will complement existing services for pre-booked driving theory and practical tests which already take place before 09:00.

It follows the recent testing of expanded online services which are available to all existing customers who have previously provided an e-mail address and set up an online account. Those new services, among others, include being able to check personal vehicle and license details, apply for renewals, changing your address and booking and paying for tests.

Driver and Vehicle Licensing said they would like to advise that to apply online customers will need to have an activated online account.  If you have not already set up your account you can request a new account or request your existing online activation link and code to be resent by completing the following form: gov.gg/trafficonlineservices
