It will cost people more money to get or to renew their driving licenses as of next month.
And that is just one of a number of price hikes being made by Traffic & Highway Services, all in line with inflation and RPI. Also on the rise is the cost of registering a vehicle on the island.
As of 1 March, the granting or renewal of a driving license will cost £50, up from £48, and the cost of having a license re-issued after disqualification is now £28.50, £1.50 more, the same as a duplicate license.
Vehicle registration will now cost £44, up from £42, transfers will cost £27.50 and exchanging a registration mark £44.
Fees for fast tracking any of the items will remain the same though. These prices were last adjusted two years ago on the first day of 2017.
