Guernsey Police want to speak to two women, who were seen walking dogs which were involved in an alleged incident over the weekend.

They are also keen to speak to any witnesses who were in the area around Victoria and Valnord roads at around 17:30 on Saturday tea time.

The breeds of the dogs involved haven't been released yet or any more details of the incident, but in a statement Guernsey Police said:

"Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident involving two dogs on Victoria Road/Valnord Road, St Peter Port at around 5:30pm on Saturday 26th October 2019.

"Police are keen to speak to the two females walking the dog at the time."

PC 94 Hopkins is leading the investigation and can be contacted at the police station on 725111 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
