The final entry date for the 2024 Guernsey International Poetry Competition is looming, with local writers encouraged to get involved.
The deadline for entry into three competitions from around the world to young writers is 15 January.
Entries must be no longer than 14 lines and fit on a single A4 page.
There are cash prizes on offer and successful poems will be displayed around the island.
Acclaimed Irish poet Paul Muldoon, who resides in New York, will judge the competition organised in conjunction with the Guernsey Literary Festival.
